Just came back from a truly amazing tour in Poland with my quartet featuring Gilad Hekselman on guitar, Søren Gemmer on piano and Mariusz Praśniewski on bass. I had a blast and we made a lot of good music together. You can have a sneak peek of what happened if you follow the link below:

The short release tour with The Beat Freaks is over. We've had a great time and a lot of positive feedback. Just came back from a terrific weekend with Hakuna Matata Culture Group led by the great Kenyan percussionist Said Bakari. We played concerts, held workshops and even made a surprise party. My setup is totally Pan-African: I have a Tanzanian deep drum, a Senegalese middle drum, and a high palongo drum from Ghana. The music is Pan-African too and we have a lot of fun. Just came back from a long vacation and back to work right away. The highlight of this week is a series of concerts during Silda Jazz Festival in Haugesund, Norway with the great Danish singer Malene Mortensen. Looking forward!!
March was great! We were touring in Poland with my old friends from Szczecin as The Beat Freaks. We also recorded and album to be released over the summer. Some new events coming up this month. My latest CD featuring the great Gilad Hekselman on guitar is close to be released so stay tuned for that one. I am presenting the material again in Odense with the cream of local cats. I also have some work in Copenhagen, playing the Blaagaards session with Simon Thorsen. April brings me also back to my hometown to play with the great Norwegian singer Live Foyn Friis on Me.Ba festival. And I am already looking forward to Copenhagen Jazz Festival 2016 with some great music to come. More details will follow.

A lot of things happening here in February. First I play in Odense presenting some of the material from my forthcoming album with Gilad Hekselman, which will be out in this year. I have also become a part of a great band called Same Vibration and we're playing in Christiania this week. The second week of February brings in my long-time friends from Poland for an intensive warm-up before some studio dates in March. More about that later. I am starting my Vinterjazz by hosting a jam session at Blaagaards with the-one-and-only Simon Thorsen. And later that week I am going to play with one of my biggest heroes, Tomasz Stańko. We are playing a short tour in Denmark with an amazing international 10-piece orchestra. This is going to be awesome!
